    Now THIS is daytime cattiness…

    Posted by: Chris

Hasselbecksilverstone Yesterday I (sort of) stood up for Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, whose supposed "catfight" was actually an interesting exchange about the Iraq War, not to mention a curious personality study.  The same can't quite be said for Alicia Silverstone, who was the first "View" guest after the Rosie-Elisabeth faceoff.

Check out this video from a "View" fan with way too much time on his hands…

    You just gotta love it…

At least Rosie and Elisabeth are plumbing the depths of "the power of forgiveness"…

Hasselbeck got exactly what she deserved. But I could see how you would have a problem with it, as a more right-leaning gay... I'm sure you'd hate to be among a soiree of your more left-leaning gay brethren and have someone do that to you, Crain, so I could see how you have to "repudiate" that kind of thing. Your own dignity would clearly be at stake, so you obviously would have to do your best to attempt to put the stigma back on Silverstone.

Guests ignore Elisabeth all-the-time. Alicia is not the first and won't be the last.

Rosie has been VERY GOOD to her friends. I'm glad that Alicia Silverstone appreciates her friendship with Rosie.

Rosie could not trust Elisabeth. She has said that her favorite program is Hannity and Colmes and that Fox News is "fair and balanced". How could Rosie be friends with her when H & C and Fox has trashed Rosie so much? Obviously Elisabeth finds not fault in that since Rosie is liberal and a LESBIAN.

Frankly, anyone who thinks Chris Crain is "right leaning" is not fit to debate.

Frankly, anyone who makes a statement like "Frankly, anyone who thinks Chris Crain is 'right leaning' is not fit to debate." is not fit to even speak, considering that Crain has been a right-winger up until he became exposed to much controversy in the past few years as editor of Window Media. Audrey B., maybe you should read the long thesis Chris Crain wrote on why he disagreed with the Roe v. Wade decision when he was a law student, among other instances of brazen right-leaning hypocrisy. If you, yourself, are right-leaning, then I understand how you would perceive yourself as a centrist, when you, in fact, are not. It's like Jerry Falwell defending Pat Robertson and saying a critic of Robertson isn't "fit to debate" because of how 'ultra-left' they are (or whatever you'll come up with, I'm sure)... it doesn't really mean much of anything.
