Obama's first day as frontrunner
Posted by: Chris
Barack Obama's landslide wins in the Potomac Primary -- Maryland, Virginia and D.C. -- have cemented his spot as the leader in delegates, not just those "pledged" in primaries and caucuses but "superdelegates" as well:
- Associated Press: Obama 1,223 to Clinton 1,198
- NBC: (not including superdelegates): Obama 1,078 to Clinton 969
- CNN: Obama 1,215 to Clinton 1,190
Just how bad was it for Hillary Clinton? For the second time in as many election nights, she didn't congratulate Obama. This time, she didn't even mention the results from that day.
