   There is overt racism (David Dukes style) and there is the subtle, insidious, "I'm not a racist" racism (Ferrara, Hillary, Bill style). And it is just as horrid as David Duke's racism, in it's own way. Keith spoke (and often speaks) for me. Obama is a gifted, INTELLIGENT, interesting, inspiring man, who happens to be black. THEY (Ferrara, Hillary, Bill, ETC.) see a black man, FIRST and ONLY. And they make comments based on their BLIND-sightedness that is born of racism. Obama has been TRANSCENDING racism, and THEY hate that, and want to bring home the fact that, "Hey America, BUT, he's BLACK. SEE!"

   Ferrara is enraged that many DON'T see what she sees FIRST and ONLY. THEY want to make sure more do, to MILK racism. And their DIVISIVENESS is working. Hillary will DESTROY the Democratic Party, and our chances of winning the White House, with her hell-bent determination to be the nominee, at any cost. And, sure as hell, she couldn't live with a BLACK man beating her. Never did she think a BLACK man might beat her, a WHITE woman. Did Keith go too far? NO He held back. And, as a side note, as a gay man. America TRANSCENDING racism, through Obama, has been so uplifting to me. For, if America can transcend racism, Then, is there not hope for transcending homophobia as well, as a society?

   I like Keith Olbermann's special comments and thought this one was right on, not over the top. I liken Keith Olbermann to Edward R. Murrow. He is a journalist who is bold enough to speak out strongly when he doesn't like what he sees. This is the first time his "special comments" have been aimed at a Democrat. I think that when Murrow told Joseph McCarthy, "Have you no sense of decency, sir?" it was considered a bit dramatic at the time, but he was right.

   BB, are you saying Keith is gay? Can you reference that for me? Thanks.

   I thought the same thing (Olbermann is gay?!?) at first when I read BB's remarks, but maybe it is a punctuation mistake that made his intent unclear.

   I think Olbermann indulges in theatrics to give the Neo-Con pundits a taste of their own medicine. But I do agree with a lot of what he says here--
   After Sen Clinton made such a big damn deal about the Farrakhan endorsement, she painted herself into a corner. It's a smaller version of that Spitzer karmic bite on the ass.

   SORRY! I meant, as a gay man(,) COMMA, not period. Meaning I, as a gay man, blah, blah, blah. I would like to mention what I see as another act of "I'm not a racist" racism, that Olbermann did not mention.......SINCE Shawn mentioned Faraquan.

   Ann Coulters has endorsed Hillary, and made a BIG FUSS about it. Ann has said MANY things as despicable, hurtful, angering and cruel as Faraquan. At least we do not often see or hear from Faraquan. I've not seen him on TV in YEARS. Ann is a CONTINUOUS spokesperson for HATE. She called John Edwards a FAGGOT, for gosh sake. Hillary has NOT denounced or rejected Ann. It's as if she does not want to offend her, and lose her supposed vote. Ann is a WHITE WOMAN. Faraquan is a BLACK MAN. Only BLACK men who are hate mongers should be denounced and rejected? White women get a pass? I see racism there, if no one else does. Hillary & Bill are both racists, unable to see that. Just as Ferrara is unable (or unwilling) to see how racist her comments were. Hopefully, if Olbermann keeps at it, they might wake up from their sleep, where they are dreaming their self-righteousness.
